MR. REYNOLDS HAS OVER 8 YEARS OF FIELD EXPERIENCE AND AN A.A.S. FROM BRIDGEVALLEY COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE AND A B.A. FROM WVU TECH. 

This is a one year, half-day program for high school students.

The on-line computer program will deliver the following topics:

  • Basics of Computing
  • OSI Model
  • Local area Networking
  • Layer 1 Technologies Design/Documentation
  • Layer 2 Technologies
  • Cabling Project
  • Layer 3 (Routing & Addressing)
  • Layer 4 (TCP)
  • Layer 5, 6, 7
  • Wide Area Networking

Opportunities for students who complete this course include:

Entrance Requirements

Students should have experience in Algebra and a strong interest in computer/networking technology.

Estimated Cost

There are no additional costs for currently enrolled KCS students. CCENT/CCNA testing is not included.
