Program Description
This program is designed to provide instruction in curriculum that will be beneficial for students planning a career in nursing. This includes medical terminology and body structures and functions. Students in this program will prepare for a certified nursing assistant certification and gain beneficial knowledge regarding pharmacology. The program will also stress content required to pass the admission tests for nursing programs.

Entrance Requirements
Program is for juniors or seniors in high schools (students may apply in their sophomore or junior years). Good attendance record. GPA of 2.75 or higher with a minimum grade of "C" in the 10th grade Biology course.
Student Requirements
Purchase of the school approved clinical uniform (scrub set and white shoes). Transportation to the clinical site in the Spring of the second year.
