Ms. Rucker is a Registered Nurse and a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Program Description:
This program is designed to provide instruction in curriculum that will be beneficial for students planning a career in nursing. This includes medical terminology and body structures and functions. Students in this program will prepare for a certified nursing assistant certification and gain beneficial knowledge regarding pharmacology. The program will also stress content required to pass the admission tests for nursing programs.

Entrance Requirements:
- Ben Franklin Secondary Application
- Interview with instructor
- Program is for juniors or seniors in high schools (students may apply in their sophomore or junior years). Good attendance record. GPA of 2.75 or higher with a minimum grade of "C" in the 10th grade Biology course.
Student Requirements:
Purchase of the school approved clinical uniform (scrub set and white shoes). Transportation to the clinical site in the Spring of the second year.
