Program Description:
Ben Franklin is offering a new high school program starting in the 2024-2025 school year!
The Hospitality and Tourism program is a 1 year program that focuses on the management, marketing and operations of travel and tourism in West Virginia and the broader industry. It will combine "hands-on" and academic activities that will prepare students for management roles in the sector.
At Ben Franklin, students will gain practical experience by operating a student run Corner Coffee Shop, raising trout for release at Paint Creek, and working in the developing outdoor classroom.
